Getting involved at UTK

Although the spring semester is wrapping up, it is never too late to get involved in one of the many organizations we have on campus! Here are some of the women-centered organizations that you can join in the fall!

 

Women of Haslam

Women of Haslam is a great organization to get involved in if you are a business major or minor. This organization focuses on helping women in business grow professionally, personally, and academically. Some of the events that members get to experience from this organization include professional women speakers, panels, and networking nights!

Law Women

Law Women is an organization on campus that is great for anyone interested in a legal profession. This organization provides networking opportunities for members, while also raising awareness of the issues that many women face in the judicial system.

Women in Engineering

Women in Engineering is an organization that creates a welcoming and empowering environment for female engineering majors. This organization provides academic and professional programs for women to explore, while also organizing networking events.

Leading Women of Tomorrow

Leading Women of Tomorrow is an organization focused on empowering and assisting women preparing a career in fields that are traditionally dominated by men. This group pursues this through educational programming and events, chapter meetings, and networking opportunities!

Women in Sports

Women in Sports is an organization at Tennessee that strives to support women who love any type of athletics. This organization does this by holding workshops, seminars with guest speakers, and social events for students to connect with each other.

Society of Future Women in Medicine

Society of Future Women in Medicine is an organization that works to unite all women pursuing a career in the healthcare field. This organization involves upperclassman providing support and advice to underclassmen. This includes MCAT prep, study sessions, navigating classes, and more!
